Mirela and Franz went for the thing that made them happy and and decided to travel to their dream wedding destination to tied the knot in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. When they told me their story and wanted me to go with them to shoot special FineArt wedding photographs and even underwater wedding photos, I was over the moon! Adoring anything that includes shifting the borders of traditional bridal vision and weaving ethereal magic crowned with emotional profoundness.
We arrived for their destination wedding in Mexico and spent an incredible time there! From the beginning, Mirela desired to express their loving essence in an extraordinary way and of course, that was right up my alley.
I researched for the ideal spot beforehand that would serve as a divine scenery for achieving a dreamlike ambiance. After an extensive search, I found the Ceynotes, an underground river system. When I saw it, I knew it was the perfect location that would complete the chapter of their destination wedding in Mexico. Diving into the crystal clear water filled me with unearthly serenity. Its beauty compelled me to pursue my fine art vision even further by going to the little lagoons. They provided sanctuary for these young lovers who felt like they were the only ones on this planet, giving in to the flow of this sacred force.
Besides capturing the poetry of their ceremony and intimate couple shoot on their wedding day, we envisioned that special photo session in a portrayal that no one would expect – underwater wedding photos.
