The two Michelin star restaurant “sosein” in Heroldsberg – a small town near Nürnberg in the south of Germany was an institution when it comes to fine dining in the area of Franconia. The chef Felix Schneider committed himself to prepare everything as regional and seasonal as possible.
Luckily I had the insane pleasure to be able not only to photograph their menu – which itself sounds like a poem – but also to taste the insane delights the “sosein” team has put on the various tables. Capturing the essence of every dish and keeping the memories to a wonderful restaurant alive is one of the pleasures of being able to be a food photographer.
A truly delightful experience and I cannot wait seeing the next steps of Felix Schneider and his team, as currently the “sosein” closed his doors…
