Our adventures souls and my thrive for destination weddings took us south of Europe, precisely to Italy and the stunning scenery of Lake Garda. If you’ve never been there, I can tell you that it is one of the most dreamy places on earth. The light there is otherworldly, so special during the last bursts of luminosity when the sun leaves that part of the globe. And after that? Then the real magic happens…
Of course, if you know me, you will know that the blue color is my favorite for photography. That was the main inspiration for that day when Sabrina agreed to go out again and chase the last glimmers of dying sunlight. At that precise moment, I knew that I needed to take photos for the Lake Garda bridal shoot.
For this Italy wedding photography, I prepared beforehand. We first had a stroll around the lake just admiring the views and seeking the perfect spot. We found it near some big stones where you could see the different blue hues in the water. Brought with me a vintage gown and a long veil which we envisioned the scenery in a flowy way with little help from the breeze. Still, I decided to make my return during sunset and wait for the blue hour. Then everything was suddenly still, dipped into blue light, so soft, airy, and natural… while I was taking the photos I felt like it was caressing our skin in the gentlest way, evoking beautiful emotions. And when the waters intertwined with the sky? It was magic that sublimely complemented this Lake Garda bridal shoot.
